Have a Vision

Elder Coletti's Letter 4/23/17:

Hello!  So sorry about last week.   I'm still alive and kicking, just busy being a missionary! I'm loving life right now with Elder Hammond.  We are seeing so many miracles, and having so much fun together while we are at it!  Ahhhh, I love my mission!  Alright enough of the small talk.:)

Something I learned this week was about raising your vision.  It is so important to have a vision and to have a point which you want to reach or see from.  It's from our vision, that we can improve.  That we can learn more.  However, there are lots of times that we become complacent.  We become happy with the perspective we are currently at. What makes special people special is that they have so many different perspective, higher visions where they can see so much more, and get so much more done.  Raise your vision and expect more from yourself in life.  As we expect more from ourselves and have a higher vision, we invite God to make an impact in our lives and help us reach our vision.  When we have a lower, not as fulfilling vision, it is harder to feel the influence of God in our lives because, quite honestly, he doesn't need to help us in order to achieve our sub-par goals/vision.  Raise the vision and raise the potential of God's influence in your life.  Love you!

New Suit!

Elder Coletti's P-Day was delayed this week due to their temple trip.  He did not send a group email because he is just too busy!:)  He did send pictures though.
He was able to purchase a new smaller suit that actually fits his skinny body now!:)

Look up!:)

Elder Coletti's Letter 4/9/17:

Where does the time go?!  It literally feels like I was emailing for last week.  This week was really good.  I loved Conference.  I thought it was so good.  One of my favorite parts was when President Eyring talked about helping others see the potential in themselves.  I absolutely love that teaching!  There are so many people in the world that don't see or don't realize what they can become.  Why don't they?  Well, a lot of the time they don't have a lot of confidence in themselves.  Other times, they only have a short term perspective.  One of the beautiful things of about Jesus Christ is he sees so much in all of us.  He sees what we can and will become. I think that's something that all of us can do.  That's what all of us can do to make this world a better place and to help us all reach our full potential.  Help us all become who God wants us to become and who God created us to become.  We just need to be happy:)  Don't let Satan pull you down and make you think your less than what you are.  Don't look around, Look up!;)  Look up to what you can become.  Look up to what Christ can make of you.

First Week in Taipei

Elder Coletti's Letter 4/2/17:

I just finished my first full week in Taipei and it has been amazing!  So much fun!  We have been having a lot of trainings from President.  It's always fun to see how he interacts and trains other missionaries.  He is incredible.  He is such an amazing example of how to love, but he also pushes the missionaries to become better.

I'm still trying to get into the swing of things here.  I've been meeting more and more or the members.  I've almost met all of our main investigators and we are trying to find more.  It's always fun to change;)  It's definitely hard.  Change is always hard.  However, you get so much from it.  That is probably why I like it so much.

I love my companion Elder Hammond.  He is an incredible missionary.  He works so stinking hard and it is amazing to watch how he does it.  We are very different missionaries.  We have very different skill sets, but we compliment each other so well.  We are already seeing so many miracles, and we are hoping for more in the future.

It has been a very busy, week, but a very good week;)
